We spend billions trying to keep marijuana out of the U.S. and it honestly...cannot be done. The demand is far too high and the mere value placed on almost any illegal commodity will always fuel the drug wars occurring south of the border. We should as a country seriously consider legalizing marijuana and regulating it's use(for instance since it is a mind-altering drug it shouldn't be legal for minors) and taxing it's consumption. Hell...people will buy it. It's the same as alcohol in the prohibition...by making it illegal...we have created a black market for it. Look what's happening in Mexico. Is that what we really want?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787519110203516191.post-19177708401063618812009-02-26T22:19:00.000-06:002009-02-26T22:19:00.000-06:00Excellent post.Excellent post.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4787519110203516191.post-50506312807816245432009-02-26T18:01:00.000-06:002009-02-26T18:01:00.000-06:00i think i wrote a blog about this. but afghanistan...i think i wrote a blog about this. but afghanistan had stopped being the world's greatest exporter of heroin when the taliban took over. since this war by Bush, afghanistan is now producing 90% of the world's heroin and they're using it as sort of a talking point to say how bad things have gotten there although the Bush administration is directly responsible for afghanistan being a major producer.President Anthony Taurushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06032022312011028904noreply@blogger.com
