Did You Miss Me? Well, I'm Back
by Eco.Soul.IntellectualPlease forgive my month-long absence. Life happened and I had to fall in it. I got married and I passed my comprehensive exams to finish the last portion of my PhD. And I am playing the wonderful game of catch up. You know, catch up on bills, school, work and sleep.
Yes, I's married now. Yup, that's me about to bawl outta my mind!
I know I've missed all the tantalizing, wonderful messes and miracles that have been going on these past 30-plus days, but other bloggers have explored them in such elegance. But still, let me add my 37 cents...
It is very perplexing that the China-backed North Korea can fire missiles up South Korea's arse, and get off with gentle slaps on the wrists and proclamations of "further investigations" to quell the global outcry for world forces stop a pending war.
The especially mum United States has turned the other cheek, and I don't mean the facial cheeks. Due to its clenched buttocks bent down in the direction of China, the US is experiencing a "pimps up, hoes down" moment because China has the US monetary system, thus the economy by the balls and ass.
Oh and don't forget the current trials regarding the manipulation of gold markets. Or the refusal of trading in US dollars in the East. Long story, another blog on another day.

Prop 8 Overturned and why Folk don't give a fvck!
It doesn't change shyt! The overturning of Prop 8 hasn't changed a gawt d@mned thing! Same sex couples still can't marry within the state and an appeal is 100% likely! So.... It's nothing more than move to the next step and hope the supreme court takes a listen. However, it is a victory. So congrats to Folk's lesbian and gay readers out there. But Folk digress.
But the real reason Folk don't give a fvck... Well, actually there are four reasons why Folk don't give a fvck.

Barack Obama called a N*gger by Iranian Politician
Mohammad Javad Ardashir Larijani, is the brother of Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and Judiciary Chief Sadegh Larijani. In a speech to the Islamic Society of Engineers in Tehran on Saturday, January 23, he called President Obama "Ka Ka Siah" [nigger in Persian] for trying to undermine the Islamic Republic. "I am not a racist but I have to respond to this man somehow," he said.Apparently this guy wants Iran to have a nuclear weapon really bad that he decided to go there. As you know here in America those are fighting words out in the streets for some. Yep, and I don't think this cat realizes that Obama gained 96% of the black vote in 2008. Suffice it to say, I think he's underestimating the many Obama supporters who just might be brave enough to go over to Iran to knock the sand off of his ass.

Under Pressure: "Good at the game of Tricknology," how the Media tried to play Wyclef and us all on Haiti
Fortunately for Wyclef, according to tax experts on non-profits as reported by CNN, there have been no serious wrongdoings by Wyclef or his organization other than not filing their taxes in a timely manner [read it here]. Uh-huh, how about that? Yeah, how about said experts disclosing that it is perfectly routine for non-profits to charge their own charities so long as services are being provided in return. See, this is another one of those incidents in the long line of them always f*cking with us - they're always f*cking with us, even when we're doing good deeds. I felt the need to do a followup on my initial post on this because, well, some of "us" actually felt he was wrong to do what he did as far as charging his charity for services rendered.

A Crisis in Haiti: When there's blood on the streets...
Honestly, my mind has been all over the place as I watch the portentous media coverage. Watching from a distance as we sit comfortably in our lives, I guess we can agree that there's a sense of helplessness which overtakes our being. A feeling which compels us to act with the greatest of humanitarian spirit, hence the outpouring of support financial and otherwise. I have some thoughts swimming around in my head about this event, but before getting to them, I just want to say that it is truly awesome to see that within the first 48 hours of the earthquake, people have donated funds to the Red Cross in record numbers. Numbers that have surpassed the initial 48 hour response period in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and the Tsunami in Miramar back in 2004.

Black folks protesting: "Obama is nothing but White power in Black face."
I guess this is why it was big enough news when an exclusively Black organization that looks nothing like the NAACP recently protested the war in Afghanistan by marching in Washington DC. The march was put together by Omali Yeshitela's Black is Black Coalition.
One headline that ran the story read "Black radicals protest Obama":
A coalition of black radicals and their allies gathered in Washington DC to assert the continued need for the Black Nationalist and anti-war agendas in the era of Barack Obama.
After a marathon rally in Malcolm X Park lasting over 5 hours, the Black Is Back Coalition led a march to the White House.
Speaker after speaker lambasted Barack Obama (as well as other members of the black political elite) as nothing more than a new black face on the same old white capitalist imperialism.
“Sure Obama is better than George Bush,” anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan said. “The corn on my big toe is better than George W. Bush. That doesn’t mean we should elect him president.” “The amount of money Obama is giving to the banks is reaching Alice in Wonderland numbers,” journalist Glenn Ford maintained. Pam Africa of the Move Coalition was harshest of all, referring to Obama as a “punk”.
A number of issues were addressed in addition to the Obama administration. The connection between attacks on Muslim immigrants and racism against African Americans was a constant theme, and a poster of Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah was in prominent display at the front of the rally. Speakers stressed the continued need for reparations for slavery as well as for solidarity with the Palestinians against the Israeli State. Obama’s refusal to support Durban II was mentioned briefly as well as gentrification, the sub-prime housing crisis and the difficulty of mobilizing anti-war forces in the age of Obama.
Black radicals? Wow, I never knew that 60s meme was still alive. But hey, I guess when a group of people lead by the efforts of a Black organization in a protest against Obama, they must be radical. I mean after all: every single solitary Black person voted for the man because of the color of his skin, right?
I guess this is a fair assumption considering that the perception seems to be that all the protests by teabagers and fringe elements of the right-wing to be racist in nature. Also, I guess speaking out and up about racism is in fact a radical act considering our climate of post-racialness.

When Jewish Kids Drink And Inner Racism Sneaks Out
Ok, so lemme see, Barack Obama went to Egypt this week, jumped over a pit of snakes, did some other shit, and discovered the Ark of the Covenant, right? Oh my bad; that was a white guy who did that. Obama is no Indy Jones but somewhere along the line he managed to give a speech that some say will go down in history as one of the best speeches ever while in Egypt. Of course there are some people who refuse to acknowledge that this country needs to reshape its image in the world. People like that are the folks who stay up all night afraid of some guy in a turban hooked up to a dialysis machine knocking at their door asking to borrow a cup of sugar. These very people probably see the Muslim world as a problem, and a threat to their very existence. Let’s be honest: Islamic extremists make up a small minority of the Muslim world, no? That's something I don't get because me personally, there are more serious threats to me and my family that concerns me. Umm, terrorists just ain't one of them. That said, I'm glad that Barack Obama took the time to extend an olive branch to the Muslim world with his speech. If anything, it should usher in a new era of hope when it comes to peace in the Middle East.
But don't tell these guys:
Hmmm, so this is where Jewish college kids go on Spring break, huh. Yup, they go to Israel and get drunk just like the kids in the video above. I gotta give it to them; at least they're loyal to the motherland. I mean seriously, I wish Black people were more loyal to our motherland like these kids. Hell, I think Black college kids should go to Africa and get drunk for Spring Break and shit like that. I mean seriously, people are always comparing Black folks to Jews, and suggesting how we could never get it together like they do. Fuck it, I say from here on out we skip Black Bike Week, Freaknick, and all the other Black events filled with debauchery and drunken sex here in America, and go to Africa instead. I mean, we gotta start somewhere don't we?
No joke, I mean clearly these Jewish kids have their acts together. They may not have a sense of history to realize that Blacks and Jews worked together during the Civil Rights movement. Not only that, but they obviously don’t know that Barack Obama managed to capture 78% of the Jewish vote in November. But dammit you gotta applaud them and their love for their country. Speaking of which, is it Israel or America? Either way, I wish these people in the video would get the memo, and realize that peace in the Middle East is what’s up. Why hate on Obama because he chose to speak to the Muslim world; didn't he boycott the United Nations conference on racism because of Israel? I mean shit, you would think Obama went over to Egypt and put that Negro nose back on the Sphinx or something! If only they would get a clue from another up and coming Jewish kid – Asher Roth – maybe we could all get along. But then again, maybe they can just blame it all on the alcohol.
Ma-zel Tov...

I'M GOING TO RAPE YOU!
Thats right, thats exactly what I'm gonna do to you. Damn right bitch. I'm gonna rape you and its all your fault. What? Plain and simple, you have something that I want, and I'm gonna take it. So what its your pussy. That shit don't mean nothing. Besides, I get off on over-powering women anyway.Yeah I know that sounds sick, but fuck it, its your fault. You damn right it is! If you didn't walk out of your house half naked, and lookin all good and shit, none of this would have ever happened. The fuck is wrong with you coming out the crib and makin my dick hard like that?! Matter of fact, I don't even know why they have laws against rape to protect you bitches. I mean, y'all deserve to be treated like whores for the way you dress everyday.
They need to have laws that protect me from you while I rape your ass. Damn straight. If a bitch fuckin hurts me as I take the pussy in any way shape or form, I should be able to sue that hoe. Or better yet, just kill the bitch. For real tho. How you gon act like you like rough sex by trynna fight me off and then spray pepper spray in my eye. You hoes should be arrested, and thrown in jail for the way you look.
Me? A woman hater? Hell no I'm not. My momma's a woman, and I love her. Shit, she don't dress or act like you bitches. My momma's a woman, and you're a hoe. Big difference. Guilty? Me? Feel guilty? Fuck no! Why should I feel guilty when its your fault?!! Fucked up childhood and upbringing? Ha! Thats funny as hell. Naw baby, thats not it, its just the way it is. Nobody gives a fuck about you being a victim.
Matter of fact, I'm the one victimized not you. I'm the one who had to walk around with a rock hard dick because of you, and how fine you are. But see, thats whats wrong with you muthafuckas. Y'all always wanna play the victim. You people...thats right, people with pussy...always gotta act like y'all the victims. Don't y'all realize that the sooner you get over it and act like the rest of us good people in society just how much better off you'd be. Actually, the minute you do that, you just might enjoy gettin ran off in the ass like the bitch that you are.
BTW: What you just read above was inspired by society, the media, and the following video below. Yeah, I know you fuckers never watch the videos on here. Instead, you rely on the stuff you hear in the mainstream media. That's cool if you wanna remain ignorant I guess. But hey, thats just me.
Besides....
wouldn't it be cool if all rapists were portrayed as the victims?
You know...
kinda like Black people, or any other oppressed group of humans?
If I were you, I'd stop believing the hype, and speak truth to power.
P.S. No hoes were harmed in the writing of this blog.

THANK YOU GWEN IFILL

As I look back at the debate between Obama and McCain, the one thing that stands out is the absent mention of Africa in the discussion of foreign policy. They touched on Iraq, Iran, Israel, Russia, and even Georgia. But there was no mention of Africa, or more specifically the genocide in Darfur. Obama did draw a reference to Henry Kissinger, and thats as close to Africa as they got.
"But Henry Kissinger isn't from Africa, he's an old white man!"
True, he's definitely not of African decent, and yes, he's an old white man. An old yet powerful white man I might add. You see, Henry Kissinger, is currently an advisor for to John McCain's presidential run. He's as influential to McCain as he has been to most of the presidents in modern history. You see, at one point in time he was the Secretary of State. This meant that he, like Condi Rice now, flew around the world representing the good ole U S of A, and helping to shape or influence U.S. foreign policy on other world citizens.
"Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World." - Henry Kissinger
Yup, thats a direct quote from the man who guides McCain on foreign policy. The same guy who said that it would be the interest of the next president to sit down and talk with the Iranian Prime Minister without any preconditions. A statement which he quickly retracted after Obama so skillfully exposed it on the debate. The above quote was taken from National Security Memorandum #200, which was signed into law under President Jimmy Carter. This policy (i.e. police action) was and still a part of what America is about when it comes to thrid world countries, and the continent of Africa.
But while we can look to McCain's advisor for this, Barack Obama has an advisor with foreign policy experience as well. His name is Zbigniew Brezinski. Obama's foreign policy advisor, is responsible for National Security Memorandum #46. This document basically promotes division within the black community, and people of African decent here and abraod. If you don't believe me click here and read for yourself; conect the dots while you're at it. And all this time you probably have wondered why blacks can't stick together in advancement of their own causes.
I don't know, you probably think blacks are crippled by playing the victim. But when you have policies written in the gov't which promote such division, you can't help but to wake up to whats really going on in America. Its no wonder that the candidates never even touched on Africa or the genocide in Darfur. Why would they when their foreign policy advisors are against the interests of Aficans here or abroad? Somehow today, I feel like I was duped when I bought that USA For Africa T-Shirt, and sung "We Are The World" back in 1985.
Thankfully it took Gwen Ifill, a black woman, to even mention Africa or Darfur in the Vice Presidential Debate last night. Thankfully she didn't sucumb to the pressure of writting a book on race and politics, and having to bow out of hosting the debate because she's, well...BLACK?!?!

RUSSIA, FOREIGN POLICY & THE YING YANG TWINS

So now, everybody is pissed because they decided to drop some bombs on Georgia. Yeah, lil ole Georgia. Well you know what? I'm glad that they did it. I don't give a shit that they're allies of the United States, or the fact that they sent troops to help kill people in Iraq. Nah, fuck that! None of that means anything to me. Whats important to me, is the fact that Georgia is responsible for all the bullshit music we hear on the radio and in music videos, and hence, the debauchery associated with Black culture. Frankly, I'm sick of all the bullshit coming out of Georgia that I'm glad Russia decided to step up and put and end to the crap. Somebody had to do it.
I've never been to Georgia, but I think the place is over-rated. Maybe its just the inner New Yorker in me, but I don't care that Atlanta is a budding metropolis in the south. The way I see it, all of them are country as hell. You don't believe me? I think they still fly a confederate flag above the state capital. Like I said, I think they still do. I've never been to the place so I could be wrong. But I've heard of nothing but bad things about the ATL as its affectionately called. Black people who I've talked to who've been there always talk about it being a city of homosexuals, strip clubs and men and women with gold teeth. Hell, I've even been told that the white people there wear their hair braided, and sound like the Ying Yang Twins when they speak. Seriously, have you ever heard those guys speak outside of their stupid songs? I've seen them on BET once and it was embarrassing. And now for the last few years we've been tortured by a bunch of idiots claiming to be hip hop artists, all because of guys like that. I hate those clowns and I hope they feel the rath of the Kremlin.
I don't wanna get too deep and get death threats from some of you readers. But fuck it, some of the dumbing down we've been exposed to lately has come directly from Georgia. The US gov't hasn't done anything to change this, but thank God that the Russians are sick of the bullshit like I am. Lord knows, I don't want this conflict to drag on as long as the war in Iraq. But I hope it lasts long enough to at least interrupt another Soulja Boy album, or even Jermaine Dupri; I'd be damned if he gets to marry Janet Jackson. What? I'm just sayin?!! Georgia is where Genarlow Wilson got a bum rap, and went to prison. Its pretty messed up when your country is known for all types of sexual misogyny, and bullshit, and Tyler Perry has to become a cross-dresser to bring positive images of black people to the mainstream.
Last I heard, Bush sent Condoleeza Rice in to bring some diplomacy to the conflict. I'm not too happy about that, because she's black, just like most of the citizens of Georgia. But then again, she sure could use a good weave, and some fly gear like the "real sistas"....
Hmmm?
Maybe Georgia isn't too bad after all.
P.S. FREE MICHAEL VICK!!!!
