Saying No to Pregnant Women in Bars & Yes to Pregnant Teens in Frayser High School

OK, so I know what you're thinking. Yep, you're probably staring at the pic above and wondering; is this woman really in a bar or nightclub pregnant, and chugging down a few beers? Yeah I know, I did the same thing too; and, a part of me wants to think she's drinking that new Kool Aid that comes in a brown bottle. But then gravity hit and pulled me back to reality; I realized that there are women, who though pregnant frequent these spots without a care.

Case in point, check out what happened to Michelle Lee:
A bar in suburban Roselle could end up in a legal battle after forcing a woman to leave because she was eight months pregnant.

Michelle Lee, a 29-year-old Chicago native now living in Denver, came into town for a baby shower last week and her friends talked her into a night out afterward, ABC News reports.

Lee and her friends went to the Coach House in Roselle--about 30 miles northwest of Chicago--where she planned on drinking some water and having a slice of pizza, until a bouncer approached.

"He said to me, 'I have a personal question to ask you, are you pregnant?' I said yes. Then he said, 'I'm going to have to ask you to leave,'" Lee told ABC.

The Baby Momma's Momma's Momma: Ignorance, Guilt, Religion, & Disregard

by Tracy Renee Jones

She’s twenty years old now. My greatest accomplishment and most trying and involved personal project, my daughter is so very much the reason that I still exist. I wouldn’t be here had it not been for her being here. I’m not sure at what point I would go back in time and choose to do anything differently. So many links in a chain of events contributed to her being here.

Life is supposed to be precious because ‘they’ say so, but life isn’t precious. Nor is life a great blessing, nor is life a journey. Life…..is a repetitive cycle of complicated challenges, innumerable daily obstacles, disappointments, frustrations, and thankless requirements.

Life is a bitch…and then you die. I have life, because I chose to give my daughter life, because I was taught that that is the ‘right’ thing to do. I live, because I’ve always been painfully aware of what life is really like and I refuse to allow my daughter to face THIS shit on her own.

Challenging the Notion that a Woman Cannot Raise a Boy to Become a Man

In light of Mother's Day, and us showing our love and appreciation for the women who made us what we are today. I'd like to challenge the long held belief that women are incapable of effectively raising boys to become men. An idea that has manifests itself in the form of popular youth culture via music, television, and the big screen. Time and time again this narrative is played out, and I wonder if we've unfairly bought into it.

Wanna know what I think? Well, it's a foolish idea in my opinion which raises many questions. And to be honest this very idea supports the Moynihan Report of 1965, which suggests, particularly for the black community: "At the heart of the deterioration of the fabric of Negro society is the deterioration of the Negro family," and that "The white family has achieved a high degree of stability and is maintaining that stability."

I mean, what is it exactly that women are incapable of teaching young boys, that a man is better skilled, or suited to do? Is this yet another one of those firmly held beliefs shaped by the obvious gender bias in our largely patriarchal society? I mean, what exactly is it to "be a man", and why is that women are supposedly incapable of teaching young boys to grow up to be just that?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

This is a Helluva Way to Come into the World - Woman delivers baby in Porta-Potty and leaves it behind - Now that's something you don't see everyday.

I don't know what's going on in Maryland, but from what I read in relation to the story above, this dumping baby thing has become somewhat of a new phenomenon. Sure people dump babies and yes it is sad. But this one here takes the cake. Lets just say that she won't win the Mother of the Year award; at least not for this year:

CAMBRIDGE, Md. (WJZ) ―It's a case both disturbing and bizarre.

A woman gives birth inside a Port-a-Potty, and leaves the baby in there.

It happened in a park in Cambridge, Dorchester County.

Mike Hellgren
reports this is the latest in a number of cases of infant abandonment in Maryland.

A trail of blood surrounds the scene of what many call a sad and shocking crime.

"She walked around the port-a-potty and we noticed she was covered in, at the time I didn't know it was blood," says John Lednum.

Forty-four year old Candy Michelle Vignari had just given birth inside a port-a-potty.

According to charging documents, a witness called 911 Monday morning after Vignari asked for a cigarette, then said she just had a baby and the baby was in the toilet.

"Basically I think that the only thing that really saved the baby was the amount of trash and everything else that was in the actual port-a-potty which is probably one of the things that saved the baby from drowning," said another eyewitness.

"Right as the cops had pulled up I had seen her go back into the port-a-potty real quick grabbed a towel at the time I didn't know what it was and then she comes over to the cops and the cops grabbed the baby," adds Lednum.

Police believe Vignari planned to abandon the child.

Just this past March, two fishermen found an infant's body stuffed inside a bag left floating in a lake in Prince George's County.

Last October a baby's body was found in a trash bin behind a church in Charles Village.

Police later charged the mother with murder.

And in 2007, a former Villa Julie College student was convicted of murder for leaving her newborn in a storm drain.

She's now serving a twenty-year prison sentence.

Vignari was released from jail and is charged with child abuse and reckless endangerment.

The baby is listed in stable condition at a hospital in Easton.

Now when I first saw this clip above I thought this was a stunt pulled by some teenager. A teen who was fearful in a "Brenda's Got a Baby" sorta way. But then I saw where this woman was 44yrs old and I was stunned. I'd love to know what's going on in her life. I'd like to know what motivates a grown woman to do such a thing to a child. I can't come up with anything; can you?

Stop Being a Bitter Bitch and Call your Baby Daddy for Father's Day

This Sunday is Fathers Day, and some of you ladies with kids probably didn't even remember that. Some of you knew it, but still don't really care. For whatever reason you just don’t care that Father's Day is around the corner. Well guess what? I wanna talk to you for a minute. I'm assuming that you're single and you still have issues with the father of your kid(s). No, I'm not talking about the way he "treats" the kid(s); he might be the best dad in the world for all I know. I'm talking about the fact that YOU still have a problem with him. See where I'm going with this? Ok fuckit I'll say it: you are still not over him.

NEGRO PLEASE!

Yeah I know that's exactly what you were thinking. It’s ok, I expected you to be in denial. Sure did, even after all those years. So you say you've moved on, you've seen different guys. Hell, you may even be in a relationship right now! But I know it and you know it; you're still not over him. Ok, then why is it that when one of your girlfriends mentioned that she saw him the other day you had that nausea feeling in your stomach? That plus you shot your girlfriend that famous Neffie side-eye. See, didn't know I knew about that, right?

Yeah at the mention of his name you get the screwface. When your kid(s) start talking about him you tune them out. He calls the house to talk to the kid(s) and you treat him like he is a bill collector or a telemarketer calling for the 100th time. You do all these things and I'm here to say that its not healthy. What good is it doing you? Oh and if you think the kid(s) are oblivious to your feelings about him, you really need help.

Look, it's time for you to get over it; it's time to move on with your life. You are doing nothing but holding yourself back, literally. I mean hell, he's moved on. Just look at him in the pic above; he's happy!! Even though he's not with you anymore, he's happy. Ok yeah so his knees are still ashy, but he's so happy that he and his new girlfriend dress alike. Listen, don't front and act like they look stupid. You both did the same shit when you were together. And on top of that you wanna make shit worse by hatin' on the new girlfriend by calling her a fat bitch. Have you looked at yourself lately? Yeah, you used to be his fat bitch, remember?

Look lady, stop torturing yourself like that. Move on with your life, and be happy. Fuck it, call him and wish him a happy Fathers Day. That's a step in the right direction. Truth be told, Father's Day isn't about you; you do not have a penis, or a set of balls - or at least I hope you don't - so stop it with the "I'm mommy and daddy," talk, ok? After you call him you're gonna feel better about yourself. Your whole attitude is gonna change after that call. Hell you might even start dressing like his new girlfriend in the picture above. If you do, don't even think about trying to get him back.

He ain't shit, remember?

What makes a b*tch wanna act in this fashion?

Listen, watch the following video before reading further....

Look it, from here on out, I'm gonna do something different. Instead of pointing out certain behaviors within the Black community and attributing it to the pathology associated with post traumatic slave syndrome, I'm gonna blame it all on crack. I mean lets face it, nobody, Black or White wants to accept the fact that still today much of what we see is a result of gov't sanctioned practices over 400yrs ago. Yea, fuck that slavery shit son! Uh huh, you niggas need to get over that shit; at least that's what I'm often told.

So yeah, instead, I'm gonna shift gears. Everything fucked up in the Black community is all a result of the crack cocaine epidemic of the 1980's. Is that closer to our current time period than slavery for y'all? Good, because everything that's happening now is a result of crack. Yup, and Black people brought that shit from Africa on the slave ships so it's all our fault.

Yup, all these bad ass kids running around fuckin up in school? Crack! All these single mothers raising kids in fatherless homes? Crack! Black people losing their homes via foreclosures due to predatory lending? Crack! All those dysfunctional muthafuckas on Maury everyday because they can't remember the name of the guy they fucked and got pregnant? Crack! Damn right, the condom didn't break, it's all about crack dammit. Plain and simple: crack fucked us up really bad.

Yes, everything is all because of crack. Uh huh, crack fucked us up. Instead of wasting your money and time going to freecreditreport.com to figure out why your life sucks, just realize that it's the way it is because of crack. Now watch the following video, and before you comment as to how trifflin this individual is, remember, it's not the individuals fault. That's right, blame it on crack. I mean think about it, crack babies are all grown now, right? Yup, and they are responsible for producing the spawn of their crack filled lives otherwise known as kids, right?

Seewhumsayinandshit?!! Don't blame BET, Hip Hop lyrics, the internet or none of that shit. Come on, keep it real. Before all of that, there was crack. I say it's time you people join me in the fight against crack babies; you know the ones who took the money from the sale of their 40acres and a mule and decided to grow poppy fields in the backyard? Yeah, those crack babies. It's time we told the truth about this mess. It's imperative that we do this because it's about our future generations; that's right, the kids.

What we are seeing in effect is the backlash of the crack epidemic. Damn straight, fuck the empire, Luke Skywalker and all that, the crack babies are striking back and we all gotta do something about it. Yes we do because I'm tired of seeing this. That plus my daughters have to go to school with these fucked up kids and now I gotta tell them about Pookie and Nino Brown.

Roll clip:

Now what do you think is gonna happen to or how that kid is gonna act when he/she grows up? Yeah, this kid may very well turn out to be fucked up. Hopefully he/she doesn't. But if the kid does, it will be said its the parents fault, right? Well, now you know that this is not true. Yup, no more of that personal responsibility stuff either. From here on out, who do we blame? I mean like my man Grand Puba says in the song Slow Down by Brand Nubian in the video above, "what makes a bitch wanna act in this fashion?" Come on say it with me really loud...CRACK!!!!

Slow down sisters.
