Glenn McConnell On South Carolina GOP Slave Pics: "Receive it in the spirit it was presented that evening." (Or, "Shut Tha Eff Up Negro!")

Well, what do you expect? I mean those pictures were completely harmless, right? I mean there's no way in hell he should apologize for being pictured as a Confederate general happily embracing slaves, right?

Now if he was holding a Quran... well maybe then I would say an apology is in order. Until then, I say be who you are, pal. Besides, it's time that blacks in America got over this racial stuff anyway.
McConnell says a picture circulating on the Internet of him dressed in a Civil War-era military uniform alongside two African-Americans outfitted in period costumes was an innocent moment among friends — nothing more. [...]

“It was a friendly photograph,” McConnell said Wednesday. “It’s a great statement as to how far this state has come.”

“Receive it in the spirit it was presented that evening,” McConnell urged, adding there were no apologies to be made for the effort. (source)
Shit, don't even pay any attention to those ungrateful niggers bloggers who are bitching about your happy times pics. I mean, it's not like those folks are asking those two Negroes pictured with you for an apology.

And hell, like you said, the pics are a symbol of just how far we've come as a society.

And you know what? I couldn't agree any more. Hell, it's not like he was whipping them like Kunta Kinte or anything; that shit would have been dead-ass-wrong.

Speaking of how far we've come. Thanks to the sisters over at 3CHICSPOLITICO, here's yet another example of how far we've come as a society since the long gone days of our pre-post-racial days in America.

The following clip comes from a group of freedom loving Americans near Seattle, who just happen to be members of the Tea Party. Ironically, the group is called "Remember Us We The People":

So you see, we've made great strides in this great nation of white folks ours. Seriously, why should people worry about the South Carolina GOP, and their "innocent moment among friends," and shit

Clearly they should be concerned about a certain black guy who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and his newfound BDSM fetish which involves him dominating white folks. Surely you agree with me, right?
